Dr. Elhav Weinstein is a board-certified, general psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychoanalyst with specialized training in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of mood disorders, anxiety and panic, adjustment problems, personality disorders, and emotional difficulties in adults of all ages. His areas of expertise include medication management and talk therapy to treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions and psychological difficulties in individuals and families.

Dr. Weinstein received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and his undergraduate degree with multiple honors from Johns Hopkins University. He completed internship at the University of California, San Francisco and residency in psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center. Before establishing his private practice, Dr. Weinstein served as an attending physician at the Payne Whitney Clinic and he remains on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medicine where he supervises residents.

Dr. Weinstein is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a psychoanalyst on faculty at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. He is licensed to practice medicine in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as telemedicine in Florida.
